Exam Board: OCR - Physics A
Assessment Method: The entire course will be assessed in three exam papers taken at the end of the course. There is a practical endorsement based on experiments carried out within lessons, this element is a simple pass or fail based on completing all practical work.
Why Should I Follow This Course?
Physics deals with profound questions about the nature of the Universe and with some of the most important,
practical, environmental technological issues of our time. Physics is concerned with observing natural phenomena and man-made systems, trying to understand them and predict what might happen in new and unknown situations. Physics is a “facilitating subject”, meaning that it’s highly regarded whatever degree or career path you choose, so it keeps a lot of doors open for you.

Entry Requirements: Grade 6 or higher in all Separate Science subjects or Grade 6-6 or higher in Combined Science. Together with Grade 6 or higher in Maths.
