SUBJECT: Maths 2019 - 2021
|
Teaching, Learning and Curriculum Principles. Pupils will focus on the core areas of the National Curriculum: Number, Algebra, Geometry, ratio, and proportion, rates of change, probability and Statistics. Pupils will learn how to represent, analyse and communicate fluently the mathematics that they are studying. We aim to share our passion and excitement for maths with pupils to set them up in good stead for the rest of their lives. We enable pupils to acquire the skills needed to reach their full potential to progress through the qualifications and give pupils the opportunity to experience studying mathematics at university if they express such an interest.
