Welcome to our website and thank you for taking the time to look through the sections of interest to you.  The Westwood Trust became The Westwood Academy on 1 August 2011, but we kept on our academy board two of our former Trustees: the University of Warwick and our neighbouring ICT company Trinity Expert Systems.  Both are extremely supportive of the school and are active in helping us achieve our high aspirations for pupils, school and community – very powerful advocates in our continuing drive to be the best at what we do.

If you are considering The Westwood Academy for your child then I would warmly recommend you take up my invitation to visit during the working school day. As Headteacher I will personally show you around our very attractive school site and discuss with you what we can do to help your child reach your aspirations for them and how we can work together to maximise their future potential.

At The Westwood Academy we have a great learning environment with excellent relationships, outstanding pastoral care, high standards, good behaviour and we maintain a happy school.  Ofsted agreed and confirmed we have all of these qualities in abundance.

We remain the smallest secondary school in the city but are also one of the top performing schools.  So many parents tell me that they like us because we are an excellent small school; this is certainly true, but they also like us because of our values and principles.
