The Westwood School delivers an enterprise curriculum with the aim of optimising the life chances of our young people. We do this in the following ways -

• Learning through work: for example, placements in the community, work experience, part-time jobs, school enterprise activities, vocational contexts in subject learning
• Learning about work: for example, vocational courses and careers education
• Learning for work: for example, developing employer-valued key skills and career management skills. This is achieved through the curriculum and alongside our business partners.

Friday 8th October Yr 7 Enterprise Day
Friday 12th November Yr8 Enterprise Day
Friday 10th December Yr9 Enterprise Day

In addition pupils will undertake a number of business capability and economic awareness sessions in conjunction with our business partners Barclays as well as undertake work placements and work related learning sessions at KS4 and KS5.
